The above photograph shows the most recent mural painted by 'the Bogside Artists'. The mural was started in August 2001 and is situated on Rossville Street in the Bogside area of Derry. The scene depicted is typical of many riots that happened in the Bogside from 1969 throught the early 1970s. The riots were commonplace with many happening on Saturday afternoons hence the title 'The Saturday Matinee'.
