The Centre for the Study of Conflict operated from 1977 to 2000

The Centre for the Study of Conflict was involved in the development of the CAIN Project which aims to make information about the Northern Ireland conflict available on the Internet. The Project has recently complete a first version of its Guide to Internet Sources on the Northern Irish Conflict. The reader will find this a useful starting point for information on 'the Troubles' in Northern Ireland.

For information about ethnic conflict outside Northern Ireland the reader may wish to consult the Internet site of INCORE (INiative on COnflict Resolution and Ethnicity). INCORE grew out of work that was carried on in the Centre for the Study of Conflict and there remain close ties between the two centres.
