Two flags, Coleraine, Northern Ireland

  Information on photograph displayed above
  Title: Two Flags, Coleraine (no.0941)
Location: Pates Lane, Coleraine, County Derry, Northern Ireland.
Description: Photograph showing both the Union flag and the Irish Tricolour flying on the same lamp post in Coleraine, Northern Ireland. This occurence is highly unusual as normally only one of these flags would appear at any particular site. (The photographer has not seen another example.) Presumably the Union flag was attached first, and the person who added the Tricolour did not feel confident enough to remove the Union flag.
