Introduction to Envelopes

Envelopes (22 examples)

There are a few examples (Nos. 1-8) here of the work of an exceptional artist called Tom Goddard. As new stamps are issued, he devises a decorative setting for the stamp, sometimes reflecting the current political situation. Tom’s work covers a very wide spectrum of social and political comment on life and only a small part of it is related to the situation in the north.

The remainder (14 examples) of this collection are produced by the Connolly Association and have a simple Republican logo in the left hand corner.
