International Quilts

The exhibition of international quilts took place at the Tower Museum, Derry, from 8 March 2008 until 19 April 2008. A total of 24 quilts / wall hangings were on display. This page provides brief details of the quilts that appeared in the exhibition. 'Click' on the photographs to see a larger version. The combined exhibition of Irish and international quilts and Chilean arpilleras was the result of a collaboration between Derry City Council Heritage and Museum Services and The Junction with guest curator Roberta Bacic.
