Roddy McCorley who was hanged near Toome for his part in the United Irishmen Rising of 1798.

Location Guide:
In the grounds of Moyard House which is the base for the Roddy McCorley Society. Entrance to Moyard House is close to (on opposite side of road from) the junction of Glen Road and Shaws Road.
