HOSPITAL STATISTICS
This annual publication presents inpatient and outpatient
activity for all hospitals in Northern Ireland for a specific
financial year. The data have been compiled from the quarterly
Korner Aggregate returns, which were introduced from 1 April
1988 and refer to all general, mental illness and mental
handicap hospitals. Data are presented separately for
inpatients and outpatients with commentary and analysis of
trends over a five year period.
