HOUSE CONDITION SURVEY 1991
The latest of a series of surveys of the physical condition of
housing stock of all tenures in Northern Ireland, this report
includes levels of unfitness and disrepair for each District
Council area. It also includes information on the presence of
statutory and other amenities. It is the latest in a series
covering the years 1974, 1979, 1984 and 1987 and is the first of
a new series based on the revised fitness standard to be
published at five yearly intervals simultaneously with reports
on other UK countries. The sample base is approximately 10,000.
Later reports based on the 1991 physical data will relate
socio-economic to physical housing conditions.
