| Description: | Group of children playing beside a school wall that contains a range of 'troubles' / political graffiti. 'Provos Rule' and 'IRA(P)' both refer to the Provisional Irish Republican Army which by the time of the photograph had become the main Republican paramilitary grouping in Northern Ireland. 'Army Out' was a reference to the British Army. 'Informers Beware' was a threat to anyone who considered providing the security forces with information on IRA activities. |
