Exhibitions

Since the end of the original The Art of Survival exhibition - of arpilleras (Chilean wall hanging textiles) and Irish and international quilts in Derry, 8th February to 19th April 2008 - Roberta Bacic has acted as curator for a number of follow-up exhibitions and other events. This page provides some details about these exhibitions and events, and lists future ones.

Exhibition
Title: Story Makers 2008-2011, Twenty-five textile stories
A festival of arpilleras and quilts with an associated launch, workshops and activities to mark International Women's Day 2012. The exhibition will feature the story of the 25 textiles that were exhibited individually at the Verbal Arts Centre since 2008. The exhibition will provide an opportunity for a get-together of many of the different participating groups and communities.
