Since the end of the original The Art of Survival exhibition - of arpilleras (Chilean wall hanging textiles) and Irish and international quilts in Derry, 8th February to 19th April 2008 - Roberta Bacic has acted as curator for a number of follow-up exhibitions and other events. Title: Stitching and Unstitching The Troubles exhibition - Phase 2
North East PEACE III partnership Cultural Fusions Project, developed by Causeway Museum Service and Mid-Antrim Museums Service, presents a two-phase programme of exhibitions and workshops exploring memories of conflict through textiles arpilleras created in Northern Ireland and across the world. Phase 1 workshops will support local communities to develop new textile artworks which will then feature in the Phase 2 exhibition in Mid-Antrim Museum at The Braid in April 2013.

    A festival of arpilleras and quilts with an associated launch, workshops and activities to mark International Women's Day 2012.     Organisers: This touring exhibition, which was commissioned originally by Memorial da Resistência de São Paulo and exhibited in 2011, is now being shown in 5 different States of Brazil. The touring exhibition is one of several projects that are part of a bigger initiative, Marcas da Memória (Marks left by memory). Its main objective is to promote the reparation for human rights violations that took place between 1946 and 1988. It is the outcome of an agreement reached by the Ministry of Justice of the Federal Republic of Brazil, delivered through its Amnesty Commission
